Editing Session Feedback 6:
This is a video on specific
information on what to do with the music video for it to be complete and the
final product. We also asked other people too but this video and everyone else
stated that to improve it was the lip syncing. This is because it was out of
place just a little bit. This can be edited to make lip syncing precise and
making video look professional.
Another thing that was suggested was adding special effects to the music video. This included colour isolation and split screen effects. This is because it has been included in the genre. Colour isolation was used in Wonderwall music video itself highlighting the guitar. We are looking to include this to help make genre conventions stronger. Split screens should be included too. This is because it is again used in Wonderwall. this would make are conventions look stronger on the editing side of the video. Transitions was another aspect we got in feedback. Fades and flashes were the main transitions mentioned to help portray the mood of the song as well as matching conventions.
Another thing required was the removal of live footage of Liam Gallagher performing Wonderwall. This is because of copyright purposes as there could be a possibility of a company recording the concert and having the rights. We will remove this as we don't want to break copyright law as well as coming to the realisation that it doesn't fit.
Apart from that everybody we interviewed enjoyed the music video and said it reflects the genre well. I will fix up the lip syncing as well as researching and applying special effects and transitions to the music video.
