This session focused on editing my magazine advert. I selected a picture that wasn't used on the digipak nor the vinyl. I selected one which included all the band members.
I again used the quick selection tool to start on my colour isolation, due to the synergy I was trying to create across all 3 different media platforms to show the relationship. Once I selected all 3 band members I then added a layer and changed it to black and white to create the final image.
Next I added the institutional information which included: The Band logo, album name, release date and reviews. I used the same font, superclarendon, to add this information to make it look like a stereotypical Britpop magazine advert. I then added the stars for the review to show what the critics thought of the album.
In this session I reflected upon research in order to gain the outcome I wanted. I am pleased with what i create as I believe it has all the qualities and information needed for a magazine advert with the urban location looking really well suited to the band and also the conventions too.
